Positive: Hostess & Host were wonderful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a private bath. Parking was free in front of Arara. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Plenty of hot water.

Positive: I am not sure I can express just how much we enjoyed our stay at Arara - it exceeded all expectations and was a gem of a place to call home for 2 nights during our visit to the Argonne Forest area. The outside seating areas are comfortable, welcoming and relaxing after a long day touring on our bikes. The hosts add the true flavor to this facility - they are well traveled and the decore reflects there interest in history. The main dining table welcomes great conversation and is topped off with delicious meals provided by the hosts. They also provide a variety of drinks you can add to your enjoyment - beers, wines, soft drinks etc. The room was another spectacular bonus to our stay at Arara - modern, clean, spacious, views. Arara is an unexpected luxury in this region of France. Go for the location, rooms, value but most of all for the hosts. We miss them already.

Negative: I cannot think of one thing.

Summary: Our 2 nights at Arara remain a highlight of our 12-day cycling trip in eastern France!
